Thank you for the warm welcome ๐ Unfortunately I can't access the options you mentioned due to my postcode. But happy to have the opportunity with phoning the Counsellers.

That's okay @Jennifer3 regarding the guided service. We are still rolling out this service. It will soon be available in more areas. You can keep an eye out.
And yes, you can certainly phone our beautiful counsellors. They are so incredibly lovely to speak to. Once again, their number is 1800 187 263. They will be available M-F.

Hi guys,
Hope you all had a great Xmas and New Yearsโฆ I joined up over a year ago and this is my first postโฆ I was diagnosed with Complex PTSD and with overlapping Cluster B Personality Disordersโฆ Borderline, narcissistic, antisocial and histrionic about 7 years agoโฆ I had a psychologist for 5 years until I reached a point where I felt that he couldnโt help me anymore and tried to find someone who specialises in Personality Disordersโฆ For two years I have been constantly rejected by psychologists who simply didnโt want to deal with people with this type of diagnosis and the stigma that comes with itโฆ Also with the onset on covid and the many people accessing Mental Health Care Plans psychologists were hard to come by even some having a 6 month waiting listโฆ And with that came an increase in billing to $260 per session when I was usually bulk billedโฆ So I started doing my own research which lead me to sane.orgโฆ Iโm trying to get onto the DSP so I could actually afford to see a specialist but Iโm not having any luck at allโฆ And Iโm considering going to a DSP activist to help with my 2nd applicationโฆ I suppose Iโm making this post because I feel like Iโm running out of options and am looking for any suggestions as to how to manoeuvre in this current environmentโฆ
Thank you all for your timeโฆ Regardsโฆ

Hi all,
New here. Iโve decided to give this a go and hoping to feel a bit more connected. Iโve been diagnosed with Dissociative Identity Disorder - this has been very hard to accept and Iโve found it hard to find information that I relate to and itโs been a fairly isolating journey. But here I am, still getting on with it. Looking forward to working out how to navigate these forums. Appreciate any direction in how to best work this.
Outside of the mental health stuff, I enjoy painting, drawing and really everything creative.

Hey @JCT Welcome! I hope you will find this to be a supportive community. Just use the @ symbol to tag people you reply to so they get a notification. You can search for any topic using the search bar at the top and all of the threads associated with that topic will come up. You can also use the tag buttons at the bottom of the page for similar.
You're not alone, there are a lot of people here who can relate to your experience. Welcome ๐

Hello, Iโm new here. I guess Iโve been feeling really down and I want to talk to people that understand me. I havenโt been diagnosed with anxiety however I have been feeling anxious for a while now and find it hard to talk to people. Iโm not a very confident person, but my confidence has dropped dramatically.
Iโm starting to care more about what people think of me and I suppose I have a fear of getting judged. A lot of people stare at me which has lowered my confidence. I donโt like myself as it is. I also feel alone sometimes and find it so hard to talk to people so this is a really big step for me because Iโm really shy.
This is a really brief introduction but Iโm really happy to be here!

Hey @TK23 Welcome! It's difficult to reach out, I get that! Thank you for being here. How are you doing? Wondering what sort of supports you have in place at the moment? I too struggle with confidence at times so I understand what this is like. It's something I have to work on all the time and it isn't easy ๐
