My aunty has keep the traditions going with " nuts and bolts", pumpkin pie and shortbread

Yep it was good but I went to bed too late - literallu stayed awake the entire night so I'm a bit knackered now lol.  Will probably have an early night to try and catch up.  The annoying thing is that I can be sat in the chair in the living room falling asleep.  The minute I go to bed I'm like eyes wide open lol.

Good that you managed to get the washing done - I have to get another load done tomorrow but also need to mow the lawns as they're already too high !! I'm going to make the front lawn my priority for tomorrow and then anything else I get done will be a bonus I think.

How was your egg nog ?

I actually did enjoy it! I was a bit skeptical at first because I thought that the egg in it would absolutely freak me out, but it turned out to be quite nice. He did say it was very commercialised, a lot different to what he was used to @Shaz51 

Ooo what is nuts and bolts? Absolutely love rum balls and can never go wrong with shortbread!

Ahh yes I can completely relate to that. I never understand how I can be falling asleep anywhere I am during the day (even at work lol), but as soon as I get into my bed I feel as if I have enough energy to run a marathon. That will be good to get an early night tonight though, and good plan to get the front mowed tomorrow. Do what you can, and as you said anything else will be an added bonus. 

I really liked the egg nog, it reminded me a bit of custard which I love. My boyfriend said the store bought one was not the same as the one his mum used to make for him as a child, but either way I liked it. I heated it up before I went to sleep and it was quite soothing. 

What are your plans for tonight before you head off for an early sleep? @mr-robot-75

Nuts and bolts @amber22 are lots of different nuts mixed with nutri grains and spices 

You can make it as spicey as you want or mild 

We went shopping,  visited MIL and SIL

Then I visited mum 

Soo many aches and pains now
