nice one @Shaz51. Rest is so important! I've been reading a lot about the link between emotions and pain. There's some really cool stuff on using CBT to slowly make pain less impactful. This psychologist does a lot of research on it and has a whole resource page. It's very interesting!
My migraine is not great. It's definitely set in, so I'll just switch the computer off after my shift and sit in the dark hehe. Maybe a meditation.

Hi @Shaz51 and everyone
Doing okay - had a bit of a down day today.
Finished work for the year so my motivation has dropped a fair bit - and feeling a bit overwhelmed by the amount of stuff I need to do in the house.
Managed to get a load of washing done though so I'll take the small victories.
Now just having a last cuppa before I go to bed.
Hope everyone has had a good day.

Hey there @mr-robot-75
Good on you for the small victories!! Sometimes they are all we can manage and that is completely fine. I had a bit of a day like that today. I had big plans for myself in terms of productivity but have only managed to tick 'do the washing' off of my big list today, and thats okay. I'm taking it one step at a time today because that's all that I can do.
How are you feeling today? I hope your cuppa was nice before bed last night.

Good afternoon everyone
I'm having a matcha latte as my cuppa today. My boyfriend brought home some egg nog from the shops last night which I tried for the very first time. He said that it was a Christmas tradition from when he was younger but never knew how to make it, until he saw it at Coles and had to buy a bottle. I had never heard of it but actually quite enjoyed it. I preferred it heated up, it reminded me a bit of custard. And it got me thinking, does anyone have any holiday traditions that they do/ eat?
@Bow @mr-robot-75 @Shaz51 @Meowmy @Appleblossom @ArraDreaming + everyone else!
