Thought -- I can't do anything right

Reframe-- I may do and say the wrong things daily but I know I am still loved

Thanks for this thread @tyme

It’s definitely something I need to work on. I think I can do it with the smaller thoughts but the really heavy ones, I don’t know how.

I'm wondering if a culmination of small thoughts support you with the bigger thoughts? That is, break up the bigger thoughts?

I love this one @Shaz51

Re: The Art of Reframing - Back by popular demand!

I can see where this so going @tyme. I’m even doing it right now.

Re: The Art of Reframing - Back by popular demand!

And as I mentioned earlier, I reckon that enough practice of reframing can eventually change the entire narrative/script @Captain24

Re: The Art of Reframing - Back by popular demand!

@Shaz51 does it make you feel better to share these things with your family and your in-laws? I ask because I am the same with my extended family where i do this to some extent to feel some sort of connection. I have this need for acceptance with my extended family which I think it's a result of an anxious attachment style. But in my case the estrangement from my sister was always there as she always wished to have been an only daughter.  She is the eldest. I wish I had other siblings to be close to but it is just us 2.

You may need to remind me of this thread! @tyme

@tyme

This is Mr shaz's saying ;

Thought --- "everything happens in threes " so 2 bad things have happened so far , what is going to happen next

Re: The Art of Reframing - Back by popular demand!

@tyme @Shaz51 @Former-Member

Thought: "I'm a terrible parent".

Reframed: “How do I teach my children to express their feelings, emotions and needs?”

Thought: "My kids never listen"
Reframed: “Drop the word chocolate in a sentence to see if they hear it?” 😆
