Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

Excellent @Mazarita - feels good to accomplish stuff doesn't it? Faster internet will be nice. That must be some big washing basket you have there to have done three loads and still not reach the bottom.

Maybe tomorrow huh? But then unless you stop wearing clothes and using linen, it will just keep filling up I suppose.

Have a good rest.

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

Yes it does, @soul, even a modest amount of things like today. Big improvement on many other days. Yes, I may get to the bottom of the washing basket tomorrow. It is a big one! All the better for avoiding doing the washing, lol. Yes, it always refills. That's part of what I find so daunting about domestic duties - the endlessness of them! Hope you had an okay one today too. Smiley Happy

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

Hello everyone. New in SANE. Been scrolling on the various forums and finally landed here. Retired and staying alone since my 3 children all gone to universities, my daily routine is more or less 'lazying' at home unless i have my weekly religious gathering, monthly hospital visits to the psychiatrist & psychotherapist for BPD, physiotherapist and orthopaedic for my piriformis syndrom and fibromyalgia. Driving to mom's twice a month and doing my groceries every tuesday after class. I kinda like the slow paced life i am living now cuz i cant bear noises, crowds and prefer to be on my own. I do get lonely sometimes and cried my heart out (just had my second divorce after 13 yrs of polygamous marriage). My ex was the only friend who knew my sickness so i have no one else to talk about it now except my psychotherapist.

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

Hi @Adek ..... 👋

Welcome to the forums. I have seen you on the introduction thread, but it's been a bit of a heavy week for me, so I don't think I actually said hello over there.

I am glad you have found us. This thread is a good one for helping to stay on track in "having a day" when there isn't much structure in it ...... creating a to-do list provides that missing structure ..... then it's just a matter of sticking to it.

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

Thanks @Faith-and-Hope and hello. I'll give it a try.
(8/8/17- Tue):
am : Tuesday Class
noon : Lunch out @ Sushi King
pm : Cupping svc for new client.

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

Tomorrow I have
am - apt
noon - a tech assistant coming to sort something in our home office
pm - a piano tuner coming to make our piano nicer to listen to

Somewhere in there I need to fit in a walk (long) or two (short) ....

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

Hi @Adek - lunch out tomorrow sounds nice. I love sushi. I can understand your loneliness being by yourself and your kids off at uni. Do they live in another town? Sounds like you got tomorrow sorted.

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

Hi @soul. The two girls are away but the eldest young man is always occupied despite being near. Yeah..i like cramming few tasks in a day so i can totally be at leisure the next. 😊

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

Today i only managed my tuesday class after cooking mushroom omelet and had it with a slice of wholemeal bread. Cupping was rescheduled by client to next week. So sushi also rescheduled. Did my normal grocery list and home by 3pm.

Check in schedule for tomorrow:

Am: morning stroll at fresh market.
Noon: facial at salon ( briskwalking same time cuz the salon is in a huge multistorey shopping complex..hehe)
Pm: computech zone to get a notebook for youngest daughter (if i have energy left).

Been kiv-ed since june. Need to get it by the time she comes home 19th.

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

You accomplished a fair amount of things today @Adek. Tomorrow sounds like a nice day especially the facial. Hope you get the notebook sorted for your daughter. So you know what you want? That's half the battle.
