Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

Well done everyone! 😊I haven't really stuck to the daily goals I had planned for myself last I wrote...although I have stayed sober this week which is good for me...but haven't done much to really make life better...perhaps it's time to reassess my plans/goals and be realistic with what's manageable for me on a day to day basis...a list and daily/weekly planner is definitely needed too! I like the ticking off things as you go idea! 👍✔️✔️😊

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

Done:

2 loads of washing!!

Still more needed to get to the bottom of that built up basket. But what a relief that I've finally done some of it.

Hello @ManishAhuja how are you tonight my friend Heart

Hello @Ash11 Heart

Re: Daily goals, motivation and check in

Today a handyman came to paint ceilings in both bedrooms here to cover up water damage that happened a while back. I had to be up early, dressed and ready (tick). Made the bed within minutes of getting out of it (tick).

Got really jittery while he was here (though he was a very nice bloke) and the nervous energy drove me to do three loads of washing (still haven't quite got to the bottom of the basket).

Also organised on the phone to have ADSL2 broadband put on here. We've been running on ADSL1 until now because we are in a regional area and it was not available. The switchover was an almost painless process and was done within the day so that we now have the faster internet speeds.

Also organised on the phone an outing for me and C (my companion) in the middle of September.

And several other things, including getting out of the flat to visit a friend. I helped a little bit with her domestics too (just little things).

Despite not enough sleep, too much nervous energy, inner agitation, anxiety, irritability, impatience, the usual low level paranoia and feelings of emotional imbalance, and a tendency to leak tears when the handyman chatted with me... I got things done.

Glad to be able to report some positive movement in my domestic life today. Smiley Happy
