What's it like in a ward? I've been thinking about self admittance within the public system but have a few worries and questions.

1. Can they keep you in longer  against you're wishes even if you self admitted?

2. Do they actually help you, what things do you do etc?

3. If you have kids etc would they document or speak to child services (cps)?

4. What other things should I know before going in there? Can I request to not be put near or in a room with people etc? I'm sensitive to other people's behaviours and am quite scared of everything (anxiety)
