Re: Share a cuppa?

My Ds lunch box is far from a healthy bento box @tyme ! 😂 she won’t eat that stuff!  She has a bag of popcorn, a bag of them fruit chewy things, an apple (which rarely gets eaten) and something for lunch… the end of last yr she was having fairy bread! She is so so fussy and it’s what she eats!

Re: Share a cuppa?

@tyme sometimes it’s seriously like the apple is just going on an excursion and will be home at 4pm,
Anything that doesn’t get eaten and is still salvageable (like apple and stuff) gets cut up and goes on afternoon tea plate.
But yeah it’s a battle between picking what you know they will eat vs what’s “allowed”.

He is actually excited which is going to make the whole thing hopefully easier (although he needs a new special dad hat) And our middle kid is starting kinder this week too we are very nervous parents as he is on the younger side age wise but we think he is ready. very exciting.

Re: Share a cuppa?

My sis is very  strict on their food and lunch boxes. It's all fruit. If they have a 'treat', it's 2 tiny teddies or 3 chips or something. @Bow

The eat a lollipop maybe 3 times a year... lollies... well, they don't eat lollies... if I had my own kids, I don't think I could battle that... just too hard.

Re: Share a cuppa?

hopefully I don’t need to buy 2 emotional support hats @tyme

Actually make that 4, mum and dad might need emotional support hats this week too

Re: Share a cuppa?

ooooo @ArraDreaming . Dropping TWO kids off now! Yay!

I'm glad your eldest is excited. It'll make it easier. He knows he's getting a new teacher, new kids, new classroom? Good to tell him that before hand.

Re: Share a cuppa?

Yeah we have gone through everything and he got additional transition at the end of last year so with that and how excited he is we are confident he is going to do well this year

Yeah we are a bit nervous about minion number 2 but he is pretty excited about it and we think it will be great for him @tyme he is not quite 3 yet but very close.

Re: Share a cuppa?

I wish they had Bunnings hats in smaller/kid sizes @tyme

Re: Share a cuppa?

Hello @tyme catching up with all may tags 😁

Hello @Bow , @ArraDreaming , @Abner , @Oaktree

Re: Share a cuppa?

Exciting @ArraDreaming - for everyone. Some kids start on Tues, some on Wed. Write to Bunnings about getting kids-sized hats!

Good to see you @Shaz51 .
