Re: Share a cuppa?

This morning we woke up to her having destroyed both of the kids bean bags over night … bean bag beans EVERYWHERE 😟

Re: Share a cuppa?

OMG! I was just about to ask what happened with the bean bags and the dog....

I reckon she knows something is up. It's going to be hard with the baby.... she might get jealous @ArraDreaming

Polystyrene is the hardest thing to clean. The static makes it stick to everything.

Re: Share a cuppa?

she did that because we’re trying to get her to sleep more in the lounge room instead for when the baby comes @tyme so I think that was her revenge…
she’s not happy

they were so hard to clean up but then no matter what I offered only way to make it up to the kids was to buy them new ones, took the 5 yo to Kmart, of course what did he pick…. a trifold bean bag that folds into a mini couch, and we all know what happens when you buy new ones and have to fill those things up let alone one of them, no amount of convincing would change his mind, now we have those stupid things everywhere @tyme my mistake was also thinking he would be capable of helping me fill them up well taht ended in disaster
Never again

Re: Share a cuppa?

and I mean NEVER again

Re: Share a cuppa?

Oh nooo!!!! I can imagine! They are PAINFUL things!

I have to say it is a good idea to start getting Nicki used to the idea that someone else is coming along. I don't have any suggestions though. @ArraDreaming

Re: Share a cuppa?

Maybe you can search it up or something. I remember once reading that a slow intro was necessary. ie. let the dog smell the baby's clothes etc... but i don't know much more @ArraDreaming

Re: Share a cuppa?

He knocked a full one of over by accident, before I had a chance to zip it up 😳😳

and then the second one he was meant to be holding the bean bag up so I could fill it, but I couldn’t see past what I was doing so regretfully had to rely on his word… after about 2 mins he goes “oops, they weren’t going in”
they were going directly on to the floor @tyme

Why did I think that would work

yeah I don’t know because we didn’t have a dog when we first bought home our toddler and I’m a bit nervous…

Re: Share a cuppa?

probably couldn’t have picked a worse pair to try and do something involving coordination and communication, not a single brain cell was being used at that time

Re: Share a cuppa?

In the past, I think I put the bean bag through some pipe thing to hold it open and poured the balls in @ArraDreaming . But even then it was messy!

Re: Share a cuppa?

oooooh well that makes sense @tyme haha
I was gonna say next time but there wont be one
