@ArraDreaming, how are you? I went to a concert and then dinner with a friend of mine. We talked music the whole evening and dissected the concert, and compared different conductors. We agreed that the conductor we saw last night is a lot kinder than some conductors, I've met her and she is a warm hearted, and generous person. It was lovely, but I had to sleep this morning, and I have a rehearsal at 4pm this afternoon, so a leisurely till then for me. How are you and your family?
We had a bit of a joke about violinists and their horse hair bows, we said there are violinists who part own stud farms so they'll be in horse hair forever. They go through horse hair and rosin on their bows at a rate of knots, as do cellists.
