Re: Share a cuppa?

@Oaktree , @Abner , @ArraDreaming , @tyme , I should of stayed with my mum when she was in soo much pain -- but mum was chasing me away

and then I had a appointment with her doctor which was good to find out what was going on

Re: Share a cuppa?

I'm hearing that @Shaz51 - but remember, you need to look after yourself too. Do you think you could have reduced or taken your mum's pain away?

Re: Share a cuppa?

Do you think you could have reduced or taken your mum's pain away ?--- No not at all @tyme

Re: Share a cuppa?

Well she wasn't making it easy for you to physically remain with her. The main thing is you got her to the doctor and got some answers. She may also hsve been in a state that was continuing to add to her anxiety, and we always find other people's anxiety difficult to deal with. you may not think it right now, but you did very well.

Re: Share a cuppa?

You did very well @Shaz51. Your Mum was probably in anxious state which was probably increasing because of her physical state, neither of you knew yet what was happening, and we always find other people's anxiety difficult to deal with. Remember you got her to the doctor and got some answers. You did well. I'm confident you everything in your power to make her comfortable. Just remember both of you were feeling anxious and that would have been due to the uncertainty you both felt. GOOD ON YOU FOR STAYING to see the doctor, even if you had to walk off for a bit. You knew she was safe.

Re: Share a cuppa?

Thank you @Abner 🙂  xx

@tyme , Mr shaz is trying soo hard to make me feel better

Re: Share a cuppa?

It will take time for you to feel better @Shaz51, because we always get forensic in these situations, thinking "What could I have done better?",, and that's because we're not narcissists. You will feel better, it'll just take time...and remember you too were frightened, and are still reeling from that. Give yourself time and rest.

Re: Share a cuppa?

Soo true @Abner xxx

Re: Share a cuppa?

That's why you and Mr Shaz need each other. You have an understanding when each needs comfort @Shaz51 . Sometimes, he needs the comforting, and at other times, you need the comforting. It works both ways and that's the beauty of it.

Is he okay at the moment with everything that is happening?

Re: Share a cuppa?

I hope that you will feel a bit better soon @Shaz51

You did as much as you could.

hugs,
