I totally understand, if you need please do not hesitate to call our drop in line to have a chat with someone.
I remember you were saying last week that your psych has a lot of time off and you haven't seen them in a while. Have you been doing anything to make sure that you are taking care of yourself during this period of not seeing them? @Snowie

Nice! I am having a sleepy time tea to hopefully help me get to sleep tonight! I would love a coffee but it would keep me awake the whole night, my favourite is a vanilla latte. What about you? @Meowmy

It just makes it hard @amber22 The last session I saw her my husband came along so I couldn't really talk to her about things I needed to. Just hard when I go from seeing her fortnightly to not at all.
I have been trying to do self care but I am finding it a struggle to put it into practice. I have been reaching out for help, more often than I care to admit.
Christmas time is a huge trigger for me so has just been really hard lately.

That would be tough - feeling as if you can't speak about what you really wanted to because her husband was there. Hopefully when you see her next you can speak about what you really came to speak about, and it will make you feel a lot better.
Completely understand about this being a triggering time of year. It is totally okay if you are finding it difficult right now to do some self care. I find it really challenging too sometimes, its totally understandable and valid. What is something that you do self-care wise that is easiest or most enjoyable for you? Even something small? @Snowie

@amber22 I see her next Tuesday so am just concentrating on getting to that point.
Have been having weekly ECT too.
Probably the most enjoyable is spending time with the dog. We will go out into the backyard and just spend some time together. She doesn't judge me and gives good cuddles!!
Watching a movie snuggled under my weighted blanket helps me stay present too.

@Snowie hey Snowie, so sorry to hear things are not good at the moment. Hope tomorrow will be a bit better. Hope you get more fun time with your dog. It's so hard with MI. We are here for each other. Take care
