Re: Share a cuppa?

Hahahaha @ArraDreaming . I'd be interested to know how he manages school next year. I wonder if there's an element of ADHD - we can only wait and see?

Anyway, I'm hopping off soon. I'll catch you tomorrow.

Re: Share a cuppa?

On a wait list @tymejust got a date for an appointment!

have a good night and thanks for the chat

Re: Share a cuppa?

@ArraDreaming , @tyme

2 of my step sons were diagnosed with  ADHD when little

And the specialist tested Mr shaz for adhd also

Re: Share a cuppa?

@Shaz51 I’m still here happy to keep chatting I won’t be sleeping any time soon

yeah I have it, diagnosed as teen though, although no doubt had it my whole life before that.

will be interesting to see if junior Jay5 has it (he is also technically my step son too shaz so not genetically passed down by me, if that’s a thing?)

Re: Share a cuppa?

Diagnosed at 15 @Shaz51
Was always there

Re: Share a cuppa?

My youngest step son was diagnosed when a teen too but had it since he was little and now he is 30 @ArraDreaming

Re: Share a cuppa?

It’s not an easy thing but with the right support it can be better, so many people have it these days I wonder what the increase is my partner works in this space and she said the amount of people seeking adhd diagnose is huge and increased by so much

I look back on thibgs I did as a kid pre and post diagnosis and go yep, it’s exactly what you’d read about all the traits

Won’t go there tonight but also had a tonne of trauma to contend with so who knows if my behaviour was adhd or coping or both @Shaz51

Re: Share a cuppa?

Sending you understanding hugs my friend @ArraDreaming

I am off to bed now , see you tomorrow xx

Re: Share a cuppa?

Thanks @Shaz51 maybe I will try to get some shut eye myself

Re: Share a cuppa?

I have to sleep now because I'm very tired, but I'll check in with you tomorrow morning before I go to church. In the meantime stay safe and warm all of you, and get some much needed rest. Your task tonight is to go to sleep so you can be strong tomorrow.
