Why do dental receptionists have to be so rude and judgemental

My dentist is lovely, but every receptionist has been brash

@avant-garde I'm sorry they are rude and judgemental sweet, that's definitely not ok especially when some people have so much anxiety around dentists. 

I'm really glad that your dentist is lovely though.

I had the colour and size match today, it was the first time I saw them and it's hit me like a ton of bricks... I'm 36 dreamy... 36... being fitted for dentures...

@avant-garde oh sweetheart, i hear you. But remember this isn't your fault, you didn't choose this. I know it's hard being in this situation especially when you are so young, but getting dentures will mean that you'll be more comfortable and you're going to have nice teeth with a beautiful smile ❤️. This doesn't change the amazing person you are, you're incredibly strong and brave sweetheart ❤️

I've been to 3 different dental practices as an adult and each on the receptionists are lovely. I wonder sometimes if they reflect what they are given. I had one dental nurse who was a little rude and I said to her she didn't need to speak to me that way and she apologised. She'd been having a bad day and didn't realise she was being rude. Kindness always begets kindness, I rarely have interactions with brash or annoyed people and I've found it's because I treat them the way I like to be treated.

Good on you for speaking up @ENKELI . I totally agree that some people actually dont realise their rudeness and abruptness is impacting others. It's really good you pointed it out.

It reminds me of kids blurting out really honest but brutal truths - we know it deep down, but we don't want to believe it.
