Re: Good Morning!

@Shaz51

I'm not awesome, only God is truly awesome

I am supercalifragilisticexpialidocious

Re: Good Morning!

I totally agree about God @avant-garde 😊

Love that word  supercalifragilisticexpialidocious 😁

Re: Good Morning!

@Shaz51 I figured you're Christian pretty quickly so I'm not afraid to be overtly Christian with you and I like that.

Re: Good Morning!

@avant-garde now here's someone who likes their coffee!! Teehee sounds absolutely decadent, love it!! And that is just too adorable, teehee isn't it splendid making people laugh? 🥰

Oh true, yeah hearing aids + ear infection sounds like a pretty awful time!! Amazing that there's technology to help you circumnavigate the biggest impacts. I hope you find the right ones to suit your needs!

Hmm now I am wondering if it's something that could help my tinnitus!! Will have to do some research!!

@Jynx

She's my oldest friend for a reason... I absolutely love her... she's the one taking care of my gorgeous cat until I get a place where I can have her with me...

Re: Good Morning!

Hey @PeppyPatti took a bee-line to your dating dilemma thread. I know you care about your ex husband. Cutting off past relationship contacts stops the ambiguity though.

My friends son worked on an oil rig off the coast of Brazil and was pulling in lots of money. He ended up getting hooked up with a gold digger. He married her and she ended up spending hundreds of thousands of dollars of his money.

Admittedly in my own life I tried saving my own brother from himself but realised he just had to make his own way through life. I realised doing things for others takes away their self autonomy. What I have learnt is we can't go in there trying to save people from themselves they have to learn their own life lessons. So these days I just let life unfold as it does for these people

Theres not much you can do except be a witness to what is occurring as much as you love and want to protect your ex.

If he cannot manage his money he should be really with State Trustees for them to act as a guardian of his finances. I had a fb friend who was a hoarder and could not budget. In the end he had no food to eat or buy his meds with so case management put him on income management with State Trustees. It was the best thing that could have happened to him.

Re: Good Morning!

Feeling alone today... I hate Christmas and I hate anniversaries and I hate all the things growing up that I never had... it feels like nobody will understand...

Re: Good Morning!

Hey @avant-garde ,

I'm sitting with you my dear.

I don't do celebrations, christmas', easters or birthdays either.

My track record in hospitals proves this. They are all difficult times for me, however, through my recovery, I've learnt to better manage these challenging times.
