Trigger Warning.
It's somewhere new that I am moving.
I hear you with the reaction - but this is not something I can control internally with the psychotic history. Best I can do is sooth it out, which is what I tried... just the bounce back from this is very taxing, like I have a migraine even today.. so much lost time. Maybe I'll find a counsellor to talk about this actually.
thanks anyway
edit: I like your line "sensing trouble when there is disturbance" - happens indeed.

Fingers crossed indeed @Judi9877 ! 🤞🤞
Perfect situation for some "assertiveness" (something group therapy facilitators have been trying to foster in me since forever- with some success, I suppose)

Hello bought a prepping homesteading book on self sufficiency. Saw it mentioned somewhere online. Its how to be totally prepared for any situation with lots of traditional and practical skills. I have a few ready reference books for emergency. I also love my aromatherapy reckoner and acupressure reference guide. Its good to be equipped with skills that they no longer teach in schools.

I'm sorry to read that you feel that depression is slowly creeping up on you @Judi9877 . I have had depression in the past and I know how difficult it can be. I do think it's good that you are trying to `nip it in the bud' by getting admitted to PARCS. I really hope that between your psych registrar and your case manager they will be able to get you admitted to PARCS.
Fingers and toes crossed that it goes the way you want it to.

@FloatingFeather Thank you. Tried a new exercise class today Yogalates. Liked it. Think its a keeper, so need to ask my son if I may borrow his yoga mat. Off to chemist and have eye check and fix broken glasses. reflecting on me moving more socially away from mainly clinical scenarios. Will reduce my physio when I can get suitable affordable options plus walking and gardening of course.
@SmilingGecko Love the idea of that book. Cannot go hardcore with homesteading, but tend that way a bit.
@TAB @Judi9877 Saw that article too re real estate.
@Former-Member Hang in there mate and welcome to the crew.

I've never heard of yogalates @Appleblossom. Sounds interesting and enjoyable! I'm not a big fan of exercise but I do like Yin Yoga (more a meditation type yoga) and walking.
I hope you have a good rest of the day/evening and your eye check goes well.
