Far and Away

Been painting the back drop for the play on the dining table @Former-Member and hung it in front of the heater to dry. The kids started it yesterday but we ran out of time so I brought it home to do some more. We will do more throughout the week but the base is all done now. Have also caught up on some housework - the rest I will do tomorrow. Now to settle into some paperwork now the dining room table is free.

I have some parents helping with costumes for their own kids and a couple already offered to help with anything we need. I would no doubt have more if I put the call out ...will see how the kids go this week as they are really enjoying getting ready and the more they can do by themselves the better. I love seeing their little faces when they are creating things and we have had all of them this week helping each other - it is a joy to watch @Former-Member I don't even care if they mess up their lines or forget altogether - it is the process that is so enjoyable (for me too). 

I hope you are already in the land of nod Hon - I have just finished the vacuuming so one less job to do tomorrow 👍 The backdrop is already dry so that is out of the way for now too ...ticking things off slowly but getting there.

@Faith-and-Hope @Former-Member Had a few hours sleep but figure that is okay as I slept nearly all day yesterday. Managed to tick off a couple more things but still have a lot to go. I plan on going out soon to get some things we need for the costumes then back home to work until 3pm when I will stop to watch the footy. Then a couple more hours work and an early night. Will check in later when I can ...sending you both some love and hugs - and anyone else passing through ( @Emelia8 @BPDSurvivor @Snowie @Shaz51 @Eve7 ....)

The last 2 weeks have been soo hard with restrictions  by Covid precautions at the hospitals 

mum is still in the big hospital 60kms away waiting to be transferred to another hospital 30 kms away tomorrow

in the 2 weeks mum had a hip surgery, a raging infection , drips and antibiotics, was in ED for 2 days until a bed was available  and then have been moved 4 times in the same hospital  

mr shaz is having gallbladder attacks, and a very bad knee

Got most of the shopping done @Faith-and-Hope @Former-Member @Bow Unfortunately the main shop did not have enough of what I needed so will have to go to another one further away after school tomorrow. I have already packed everything for tomorrow and am having a break before I do some more work then hopefully an early night. The footy was disappointing but not an unexpected loss.

My fur babies are playing again - mostly Clover pouncing on Toby and him telling her to go away lol It is his quiet time beside me so he can get very territorial. I have to give him his drops in his ears soon then he will settle on the couch for the evening.
