Re: 365 Project

Amongst a lot of crap ๐Ÿ˜” I am the proudest mama today

My little boy 'graduated' from kindy today and he did such a great job in their little dances and songs - then went and got his portfolio on his own and shook hands with the teacher so grown up like!

Then tonight was my little girls school presentation night and she was a brilliant speaker in a play, did such a good job. She also got her school report today and she's doing so well academically! (Not boasting just proud)

Re: 365 Project

Thats terrific @Former-Member.

Grateful for a lovely chrissie choir break-up .. in a lovely japanese garden with calming water flowing through it.

Re: 365 Project

Hi @Bill16, good to see you round.

That sounds lovely, @Appleblossom.

What a great day with your children, @Former-Member.

I have recently started walking regularly on the beach with two other women. One is the friend I have reunited with recently after a few years apart. The other is her friend of many years, who I'm now just getting to know. We all have the bipolar diagnosis. Today I am grateful for the gift of their company.

Re: 365 Project

That sounds like a lovely 3-way connection @Mazarita.  You probably have heaps in common.

Re: 365 Project

Thinking of you @Former-Member it was good you started this thread.

Today, I walked by 2 men having an intelligent civilsed discussion about "life" whilst they were packing shelves in the supermarket .. I was so pleased and chatted briefly with them ... it was an older manager and a young employee ...

None of the meeting impossible demands I had heard about and witnessed in many places ... just an older guy working alongside ... but being a bit wiser than the young fellow ... it was matey argie bargie and polite!

Re: 365 Project

Today I am glad that the Paris climate summit was positive ...  Still lots of work to do ... but there is some realisation of the importance of co-operation among world powers.

Re: 365 Project

The French have banned food wastage by vendors and are encouraging networks for distribution to the needy.

Re: 365 Project

I am grateful for the cool change.

Yet I am mindful that at least 12 families have lost their homes in the Victorian bushfires.

5 horses and 1000 sheep died.  It is wonderful that no human lives were lost.

Re: 365 Project

Grateful to be alive.

Grateful for the privilege of motherhood.

My son stopped the dvd we were watching and called for a nap.  Sounds cilvilsed to me to have a snooze after a big meal.  The cooler is finally bring house into comfortable mode.

Last year my mother died on Chrismas day.  I have thought about her a couple times today but it hasnt been too overwhelming or negative.

Grateful I survived the year.
