LOL @Oaktree . Nah, I did it earlier, then I decided to post it 🙂
Now that I've discovered I can do it on my ipad, it's a lot easier for me than paper and markers.
btw, I LOVE the 3D printing from @MJG017 !
@MJG017 , how do you get different colours? I know you can get different filament colours but for the blue ribbon the black, did you colour it in after?

The printer can access four spools of filament at a time so i load it up with the colours i need for a print. The printer software then allows me to choose which filanent to use for a print and if needed, which bits to use which filament.
The ribbon on the back is a bit of a cheat. Its a separate object to the rest of the back. But placed a tiny fraction of a mm lower. In the real world, the difference is so tiny that effectively its the same height, but the software knows theres a difference so it allows me to select black filament for the back, but blue filament for the ribbon.

Too complicated for my brain. I've used 3D printers, but I can't say I'm too confident with them. I use TinkerCAD software and prusa slicer. @MJG017

@tymeTinkerCAD is really good to learn with. I still use it for some things as it's so simple and fast for some objects.
My printer uses a slicer similar to prusa, but I have the options to "paint" my object using the colours I have available depending on what 4 filaments i have loaded. It sounds complicated, but it's pretty simple in action. All i do is paint the object... the printer works out the rest and tells me when it's done.
This is what I have my my printer that allows me to use 4 filament rolls at the same time... https://au.store.bambulab.com/products/ams-multicolor-printing

Here is my Astrobot on my ipad. I find it difficult to draw on my ipad. His claws are not right.

Nice @Oaktree !
Yes, it's not easy to draw on an ipad. It's just that pen and paper is not so accessible to me when I'm not at home.
Once I'm home, I'll have my drawing ipad, so it will be easier to draw. The one I've drawn above is on my regular ipad. Also, I have a 12.9 and 13 inch ipad, so there's a lot more room to draw. I wonder if that's why I'm okay with it?

Hello @Oaktree and others here. What a great new discussion thread you’ve come up with @Oaktree ! Well done! Thank you for tagging me in this area.
I will admit I can’t draw to save myself but I have dabbled in being creative using pencils, textas and crayons in the past. I have found the art of drawing and colouring in to be very helpful in times of poor mental health for myself, including the times when I’ve had a hospital or PARCS admission, when I’ve had time to fill in and try to relax. I’ve also purchased some colouring books in the past to do along with printing off pages I’ve found via the internet. When I’ve been in hospital, the diversional therapist ran several art sessions and played some relaxing music which I really enjoyed and found helpful to my health.
The photos below are some things I did in the past when I was in hospital 4 years ago. I like just picking up a piece of paper and trying to fill it up with colourful shapes/images and not really thinking of how it’s going to turn out. It’s like there’s no real meaning or thought behind it - just select a coloured pencil, etc, and draw - and there’s no pressure to be perfect. I hope this makes sense?
As you’ve now given me a new outlet to rediscover, I plan on getting back into drawing soon. Thank you!
Enjoy being creative, forumites!
