Come and meet some of us that are also battling various levels of clutter - @Former-Member, @Shaz51 @Faith-and-Hope @utopia @Former-Member @1stepup61 @Smc @Appleblossom are just a few of the wonderful people who understand 😁. Earlier posts have a few more tips - at present we have been ramping up support for Lapses as she has sold her home but has also been caring for her Dad after her mum passed away - there was a lot of clutter at the family home too.
Do post small victories too - even getting one thing a day sorted will make a difference long term.
Saturday I picked up three folders so I can get a few more papers filed. Today I gave away two office items no longer needed.

@Former-Member Thinking of you. Sorry the family is triggering.
You really have had a lot to do, and mostly we have to get on do the work ourselves. You will be the winner as you will have a clear idea of your finances and material stuff and be ready to settle somewhere when the time comes.

After reading that little convo I get how you are triggered by your brother @Former-Member
I get it - I don't know if my brother triggers me but he sure does ruffle my feathers - he doesn't need to practise is bad language but he does
Right now I am getting the afternoon drowsies - I am in a fantastic room at the airport in Melbourne - what a fantastic life this is - TV playing nice music behind me and wonderful view of Melbourne from here - I can see right round from Arthur's Seat out in Port Phillip Bay to the mountains north of the city - and I can see the city - I would love to take this view home with me
Anyway - I was rushed this morning - I always think I won't get done in time but I always make it - at the last minute - my taxi was a bit early but he waited for 5 minutes and then I just about left with a few items I had in another bag when I went out this morning
And it is amazing how other people can use up our time - like your son - how often have you wanted - needed - wished - you could talk with him but he hasn't had the time - and when you are short of time -- he wants to talk
I have to lie down on this wonderful king-sized bed with the huge TV screen and have a snack - it's still a while before the dining room opens - I bet I sleep though - after all the rush I am really D R O W S I E ZZZZzzzzz

Are you decluttering too?

I mowed a bit of the backyard. Over the weeds. Not exactly decluttering - but it's one chore that I've almost completed. And the yard is looking so tidy.

I decluttered some partial bags of flour and sugar, two eggs, some butter, a couple of pears and some cocoa from the pantry and turned them into a chocolate brownie slice... does that count?
