The Weekly Friday Feast

I've had a pretty chilled out low key week, family went on a bit of a holiday so i got to have a holiday from them @frog which was good i think. Gave me breathing space. Eating dinner at 9pm was great lol. Nice to see them back though. Comedy is also really helpful with depression i find. Laughter releases endorphins.

As for Vietnam i recommend going up north to Sapa. Google it and you'll why. Fond memories of a school tour back then. The rolling fog down the main road at night.. lights if the shops and restaurants reflecting off the dew.. the fresh clean mountain air.. the sounds of mopeds buzzing along all in a tiny pocket of history and culture far away in the hills.. i must go back one day.

It's pretty wonky weather here at the moment too @Catcakes. Watching a big storm at the moment. I hope the weekend is good for you, however you spend it. What's your favourite food Catcakes?

No coffee does not impact me at all. Have tried with, without, herbal teas. tried alot and no impact.

Hi everyone, just popping in. As @CheerBear mentioned, I have been having computer problems. For now they seem sorted. Fingers crossed. 

Good to see so many familiar 'faces' at the feast tonight. 

My week has been a bit tough, especially physically. Had a procedure under anaesthetic earlier in the week and now I'm starting a new meds dose, which may see me feeling a bit unstable for a little while. But optimistic it will be helpful in the longer run.

Here's a late but sweet addition to the feast. It's not Vietnamese, but I think it would be nice anyway...

It sounds like you enjoyed both your family going away, and also having them come back again.
