Busy boy @TAB ! Good stuff 🙂
I take my old goretex jacket (hand me down from my dad) when it rains, so that's all good. It's more the books that really don't like water much lol

its a shame with books should use garbage bags or something @StuF
yes goretex pretty flash, should work well if not damaged. friend once got jacket from that outdoor place that had their own bikes as well, maybe anaconda or something purna or like katmandoo , who knows .not sure think went broke, but was like $300 25 years ago, i nearly fell over. never saw her wear it lol

Most of the books are bagged or boxed...but people use those useless supermarket paper bags and the boxes are mostly cardboard...plus any loose ones (which can be a lot) we have to box up...
It's alright usually, even with a bit of rain, but the rain was pretty full on today. When it was too bad we just wait it out in the van
Yep, it's a good jacket. Only downside is that one gets pretty hot pretty quickly

back in the day when young @ Tab used to have his own show of worlds dirtiest jobs..did 5 days infish factory before ran away. $8 /hr in late 80s lol had like 10 dift jobs ,unloading boat at wharf (had to throw boxes of fish to stack like 2.5metres high lol, had to peel prawns on line, had to clean up factory using hose and bits of fish stuck everywhere, having to go back over and over again. also had to stack freezers , it keep up w 10 women peeling prawns and putting in boxes, some where filled w water (?) god knows why. so had to rush was sweating, cover in water , going in and out of freezer w big heavy trays lol so, bits frozen, yet sweating, not pleasant .. @StuF @Bunniekins @PeppyPatti @Meowmy @Glisten
