well I was a kid. these were not pythons,were copperheads, king browns etc  They used to love wash house(s) w tin walls all hot in summer lol

even came into verandah in first house. I had nightmares about them for years  @Dreamy 

yes, all learned from parents. mum killed most of them. used to have plaited heavy gauge fencing wire , well, whips basically , one hit would rip them in two

@TAB yeah when I lived on the farm we used to get brown snakes and Red belly black ones, as the saying went the only good snake is a dead one 😂

re-cooking stock from corned beef other day which had heaps veg in it @StuF added barley french onion soup and chicken stock

used to hang them up on fence dont ask me why. Story was they would come to life again in the dark and disappear @Dreamy  lol

just tried it @StuF  uber salty, give the barley another 30 mins and adjust may throw honey lemon and last of bbq chook in there lol
