I don’t think I told you guys that I got selected to receive a scholarship for studying cert IV Mental Health Peer Work at Tafe next year. It was quite a rigorous process. First I had to get selected on my application and then I had to go to a group interview. I am relieved that I got in.
Bit of a write off @Bill16 nothing bad happened though. I got kayo working on tv so can watch Shield Cricket 🏏 for free .picked some tomatoes 🍅 I grew. Thought they would be better, oh well. What about you?
Congrats @Oaktree glad you got in! Theres something to be said of mature aged students and lived experience of MI. I hope you do well in the course so best of luck with your studies next year. I don't know when these Peer to peer services became a thing but do know many people without MI simply dont "get it" so I am sure together with your caring and nurturing nature and MI management skills your life experience will benefit lots of people coming through the system.
