The banana and choc pancakes were divine 🙂 @ArraDreaming . So delish. It's hard to get bananas now because they are so expensive. I was craving bananas and my sister bought some.
As for going out, good on you! Was it with people you knew? How was it?

Hi everyone,
I don’t usually go out socially on my own. I’m a big fan of Indiana Jones movies, plucked up enough courage to go to local cinema to watch the most recent movie. It was quite warm inside and found myself relaxing that almost fell asleep couple of times …. Oops.
great movie though and I’m hoping it gets released on dvd soon.
I haven’t done it for many years but am starting to go for drives for no reason apart from enjoyment. Love going down to seaside towns and watching the waves, so relaxing.

@ArraDreaming , actually, the kids were really good. Maybe coz one was sick, and the eldest has been really good lately. I was only saying to my sister yesterday, "Where's the REAL child (the naughty one)?" Of course the house is messy as because they have been playing.
Going out with dads is soooo cool! Well done! I'm sure you couldn't have done that a few weeks back! Can you see the growth you have made?

Hey @Patches59 ,
Welcome!
Thanks for popping by! I'm trying to wrap my head around "going out socially on my own". Does that mean going out for yourself? (Sorry if I sound a bit daft). I'm trying to work out if I ever go out socially on my own. I tend to like my own company lol.
I like how you were able to go to the cinemas and watch a movie (and almost falling asleep). lol. I think I'd like to do that if I enjoyed watching movies. I'd also make sure I'd get gold class to spoil myself.
I love going to the beach and going for drives too! Sounds like you are living the life!

I acknowledge that. But you did it because that's what you want to be able to do in the long run @ArraDreaming .
It's different if that's not what you want. But because you want to be able to socialise in the future, it's a great step forward.
I'm not saying it was the least bit easy! I hear how hard it would've been!
But I'm glad it turned out well for you.

Hi @tyme,
sorry for causing confusion.
im fine going places on my own that are within my comfort zone.
I’m currently only driving to areas I know and are not too far from home.
places where I’m mainly on my own from time I leave home to returning home.
”socially” …. Cinema, musicals (with provide more info soon), restaurants etc
places out of my comfort zone where there are lots of people
I usually have a friend with me
eg ANZAC Musical in town about 90mins drive one way.
friend who also loves songs from war times and going for drives came with me.
turned out great day, lots of fun for both of us
thought of going on my own generated panic attacks

Ahhhh @Patches59 ! Makes sense. Please don't be sorry - all good 🙂 I was curious that's all.
I get it now. It's like going to the shops on my own is ok, but the next step is going to musicals on my own. The idea of it is a bit scary, but because I LOVE musicals, I don't mind.
The next thing I'm working up the courage to do is on on a cruise on my own. Everything seems twin share all the time. I just want to go alone. It's a huge step for me though.
