Re: Share a cuppa?

@Shaz51 to the rescue has made us both one!

Re: Share a cuppa?

Thanks @Shaz51 have you got anything non caffeinated

Re: Share a cuppa?

Diet/Caffeine-free coke cola or decaf lol @ArraDreaming . But I think I heard that even decaf has caffeine.

I find caffeine makes me jittery. What about you?

Re: Share a cuppa?

yeah I’m generally ok with it but I don’t really need extra stimulation right now haha I think I had about 4 today @tyme oops

Re: Share a cuppa?

Lol... maybe that has added to tonight 🙂 @ArraDreaming . Do you have work tomorrow? I don't think I've ever asked whether you have set days, or is it a rotating roster?

Re: Share a cuppa?

  • It’s a rotating toaster which NORMALLY makes sense, I work Sat/Sun and In return get Thurs/Fri off in return every few weeks but as our oldest won’t cope with holiday care at the moment and he got injured so needs us a bit more we changed our work around for the school holidays it was pretty easy because the weeks fell on my weekend working weeks most of the time with a few changes here and there . So now it’s all out of wack. I never work Wed ever, and also I work Mon/Tues.

So in short tomorrow I do have work and will get back into the consistent weeks a,b and c now that holidays and Easter and public holidays are done

    That was long winded @tyme

Re: Share a cuppa?

Rotating toaster @tyme

🤣 where can I get one of them

Re: Share a cuppa?

in a much more shorter way of explaining that whole thing - I have a set roster, if I work the weekend I get 2 days off per week. If I work those two days (Thurs/Friday) I don’t work the weekend. I only ever work 4 days no matter what. @tyme

Re: Share a cuppa?

Lol Lol Lol... thanks for the response... @ArraDreaming . I'll probably ask you again in a few weeks so please bear with me... my brain doesn't work on such a complicated roster. I'm glad your brain can!

Rotating toaster... actually, I was on a flight last week and was in the lounge for brekkie. They had a 'rotating toaster' LOL. they also had a cool pancake maker.

Here's your 'rotating toaster'. You'll need it when your kids reach teenagehood. You wouldn't be able to whip out the toast fast enough otherwise! Start saving up for one!

Re: Share a cuppa?

AMAZING @tyme I want one
We go through so much toast in this house but it’s never “bready enough” and too “toasty”

it’s so hard when people ask but it seriously makes sense when you put it this way. There are 3 supervisors (me being 1) and we all have to work a weekend and if you work a weekend you get days off in replacement it’s that simple
