Re: Share a cuppa?

I like that idea too @Shaz51 ! That's awesome! I will look at what trinkets I can collect....

I'm mindful they also don't want anymore 'junk' in their 3 storey house! Their cleaner has enough work to do lol.

I can maybe put some girly toys in there and then some fidget toys like poppits, water snakes etc.

Re: Share a cuppa?

That’s beautiful @Shaz51

people who do care from home are special people ours are in family day care and we wouldn’t change that! No big germy day cares for us, the lady that runs it is so kind and flexible when we need extra days; it’s such a nice little thing we feel like we are a part of so props to you for doing that and also giving such sweet gifts!

@tyme oh rich kids hey, just saw your other comment, yeah when kids have it it’s hard, what about just some special books? If they have lots of toys then a couple of really nice books and a tshirt or two will do, not huge but hits the special kind of mark and is practical

Re: Share a cuppa?

Like sure the toys they get will probably get preference on the day but they will look at the books in their own time or with mum/dad and can keep forever

Re: Share a cuppa?

can you believe that a book I got as a 9 year old was one of the only things I carried with me until adulthood, a book! collecting dust somewhere now but I took it to every home

Re: Share a cuppa?

Good idea @ArraDreaming . I'll get some books and tinkets and put it in a box for her. The simpler the better I think @ArraDreaming @Shaz51

Re: Share a cuppa?

For sure! Christmas causes so much stress to us all, they will love it no matter what @tyme

Re: Share a cuppa?

Yeah, you're right @ArraDreaming

Re: Share a cuppa?

Hi @ambwr22, I had a freddo double espresso with my spanakopita for brunch today, with my friend Julian, it was delicious...and then went to Parker's and bought more art supplies, did some sketching for an hour, then came home and practised my trumpet for half an hour.

Re: Share a cuppa?

@ArraDreaming that is soo good to have a good childminder for the boys xxx

Hugs @tyme xx
