Someone billed my credit card for $1000 of jewellery years ago @Dimity I told bank. Sounded routine to them . Got credit re instated eventually . Thats why I like to use paypal sometimes also was going to set up a non linked debit card so just put money in to buy something instead of having it linked to another account like they make you do these days

Hey there @Shaz51. Thanks for thinking of me. I hope all is well with you. Plodding on here. Weather is quite nice. 24 degrees and showers today but I'll be indoors for most of the day. Take care, sending best wishes.

Hey @Shaz51
Tire or tyre - it doesn't matter if we all understand it. It's not a spelling error
In fact - my spell-check doesn't want me to write tyre - it's happy with tire - no red lines under tire
I'm glad it's all fixed today
And @TAB - I'm glad you have all the fixings for getting out of a flat tyre moment now - but you have 4 in your car and a compressor. That is a lot - I take it that you have 4 cans of adhesive and not 4 spare tyres.
I don't drive now but I always had a road-worthy spare and never any adhesive - yeah - I had to ring and wait for roadside service and in those days I would have to find a public phone and sometimes that was a long walk.
It's so good to have a mobile phone - how did we cope without one - or more - perhaps four - whatever
We had a cool change in Melbourne late yesterday - it was a good night for sleeping

Hi Ms 'D' I do recognise that 'metre' now .. 😊
maybe i used the wrong word, the cans arent really adhesive, they have gas to reinflate tyre but with sticky stuff that rushes to fill hole first so tyre can hold pressure if that makes sense. First hear of them in the 1980s. finilec was a brand name.
no, not 4 spares, did have 2 at one stage after splurging on new tyres and thinking some too good to throw away. then moving house raised standards and lowered numbers re spares so left them here there and everywhere, well might have had 3 at one stage lol

I’m feeling a little down today so I’m taking the day to keep things simple and easy on myself- a little self care day if you like. I struggled to sleep last night as my housemate was going in for day surgery today - a biopsy- and I was worried about her but she’s had it done and is now home and has decided to go shopping after her procedure which is good. I’m still struggling with motivation as well which isn’t good but I’m trying to deal with it by setting myself small goals to achieve so that’s something positive I guess.
Take care!

Hi there @Judi9877
Sorry to hear you're feeling down today. I hope some self-care and good rest tonight will help pick you up.
It's definitely something positive that you're aiming for small goals.
Take care and sending hugs
