Re: Good Morning!

Sleep disruption is never a welcome thing.  I hope you can get some sleep soon @Former-Member.  Either way you will lose weight and inflammation will go down and other aspects of your health will improve. Do you follow proper sleep schedule? Lately I had been eating pecans in the afternoon and evening snacking.  I now don't think it does much for sleeping having fats before bedtime. So no fats, no fruit, no anything! Do you eat gluten? That caused insomnia for me a few years ago. Doctors could not pinpoint what was wrong but gluten was wrecking my sleep. A very common problem.

Re: Good Morning!

Ok just waiting to sign some documents @StuF  could be getting double what I thought. Will know more soon.

Re: Good Morning!

Hi @SmilingGecko my sleep schedule isn't great. I know that there is room for improvement here.

I don't eat gluten, but tend to night eat which is one of my biggest problems. However my GP has prescribed me a new drug which seems to be curbing my appetite a little after meds. They make me truly hungry.

I also have sleep aponea and the nightmares are  unfortunately still plaguing me. I have done some dream work recently which was quite useful.

I went to dietician today and he is happy with my progress.

Hope you are having a nice evening @SmilingGecko 💜

Re: Good Morning!

Well done @TAB. Hang onto the money as much as possible.  Inflation is only going to get worse.  Rents are going up.  Everything is costing money nowadays.

Re: Good Morning!

Well I'm livered @Former-Member I suspect some fennel seeds I bought had gluten in them.  I asked the vendor off Amazon first and I think he lied to me.  I have since found out many of these herbs/spices have gluten in them. This packet was from India and he assured me they were ok. I don't have coeliacs but am gluten intolerant.  So much for him.  I was suspicious but should have known better.

There are crystals for sleep apnoea and nightmares. I had sleep apnoea once - waking up in the middle of the night forgetting to breathe. It lasted a while but the crystals worked.  I've also seen some mention of certain crystals for nightmares. Never used them for that purpose. I use amethyst normally to relax me before sleep - it takes away night-time anxiety and lulls you into a gentle receptive state for sleep.
