@Faith-and-Hope I am so happy your Dad is looking well and also you are visiting him (even if you cannot actually stay with him). Give both him and D2 a hug from me 💕
It does sound like you will be really flat out whilst there but hopefully the new environment and being close to your Dad will give you a little extra energy.
I am exhausted. Nearly fell asleep at work again today. Every evening has been digging and/or moving bricks and rocks. The drain drama continues but I am leaving it all in the hands of my Dad as I have no energy to deal with it now. I really don't mean this as a pun at all - but it has all completely drained me. I absolutely regret saying anything to my Mum (won't make that mistake again) because my life has been completely taken over with it all - work is actually a relief to not have to deal with it. I am washing up in the bathroom and cannot do any washing ...and that will likely be the case until next week. I would have had it all dug out and done by now - it is still looking like the pipe will need to be replaced but what would I know?????
