@Snowie I am enjoying being outside with my fur babies and getting some things in the garden done. I need to begin preparing to go back to work though. Will probably spend a couple of days at school this week. I have a couple of appointments this week close to school so I will most likely make those days work days as well.

I'm glad you are enjoying some time off @Zoe7 I'm sure your fur babies love having you around more.
Holidays certainly go quick.
What are you teaching this year? Do you have your own class or a mixture of classes?
I hope all your appointments go well 💕

I have had both Toby and Clover 'helping' in the garden @Snowie Clover likes to get super close like Toby so no matter what direction I turn, there is a fur baby there LOL.
I have a grade 1 again this year. I met them at the end of last term and they are all so small - they do grow fast though at that age. I can't believe there is only one week to go before we go back. The kids are only at school in the first week for the Thursday and Friday, then it is a public holiday the Monday of the second week so they are four days. I think it is great for the younger kids especially to ease back into school over the first 2 weeks. I am looking forward to having a new group of kids but also really, really do not want to leave my fur babies - it has been so lovely spending so much time with them.

You must be getting a lot of work done in the garden @Zoe7!!!
They love helping and getting in the way.
Ohhh grade 1's are so little and cute. Such a great age to teach. Hopefully they are a really nice bunch of kids and you can have a really good year with them. At that age the growth in them from the first day to the last is huge.
S starts on Thursday, his last year of school.

Morning @Zoe7 @Snowie and anyone else around 👋💕
Wow, I can’t believe the holidays have gone so fast @Zoe7 , and I can’t believe S is coming into his last year of school @Snowie ….. 😳. New starts. Me too. Back to school for me for my final year, presumably 😅. Scrambling at the moment to put it all together, but jumping through all the hoops to make it happen.
Have a good day ladies 😘💕💕

@Faith-and-Hope it's sad in one way with S last year of school. So proud of him but makes me feel old!!
I really hope your final year of school goes well. You have made it so far already.
No doubt you will do an amazing job.

Thanks @Snowie 💖
it’s a leap of faith each year I step up to studies. I have a major project I want support for, so the best way to do that is to make it a study project. Then all the facility and advice of the university is accessible to help me sort out where I am going with it, including all the technical stuff.
I hear you re S and feeling old ….. lol. I’m a grandma ❣️. There are joys to be found in it all. Rock the last-year-of-school-mum vibe as best you can Hon. After that the kids begin to see the world with their adult eyes, and the relationship becomes more about being friends, which you must be starting to feel with D. It’s really special.
Hugs xxx

Oh that relationship with D has already started to change @Faith-and-Hope
They are still my 'little kids' 😁
I guess at the end of the day you just hope that you have given them a good start to life.
One good thing, only one more year of school fees!!
No doubt you will do a great job with your project hon. I guess it helps with the uni support too.

@Faith-and-Hope @Snowie The holidays have absolutely flown by 😮I am nowhere near ready to go back to work but need to get into that headspace pretty quickly. As is always the case, I will miss my fur babies - they definitely adjust quicker than I do after each break.
@Snowie I cannot believe it is the last year of school for S - it seems like only yesterday he was starting high school!
@Faith-and-Hope As always Hon, you will achieve great things again this year. If there is one good thing that has come out of the turmoil of the last few years, it is the focus you have had on your art to help you through. Life can take us in so many different directions but it is ultimately up to us to choose the path - you, my dear friend, have chosen a very positive path despite everything thrown at you, and you should be so proud of yourself and take confidence into your studies/art this year.
