@Former-Member, I've tried growing the dwarf cherry trees several times, but each time they died for one reason or another. The wallabies were to blame for at least one demise, and may have contributed to another. So I've given up on cherries for now. Replacements were getting too expensive!!$$!! (I may try again sometime in the future.)
Went into a garden centre yesterday while doing some necessaries in the "big town", and they had a Corella pear. Exactly the variety I've been after, and I could only see one there, so I snapped it up. 🙂
Have been getting the hands dirty today. Moving old chookpen litter so that Younger Daughter has a clear spot for building her cabin, and it only made sense to move some of it directly into garden beds that needed it. So while I was doing so, I also cleared a few weeds, cut back some perennials, planted a few little groundcovers where they'll hopefully spread out across the edge of a path, transplanted a seedling species delphinium, and put some cuttings into pots. Very rough cuttings- I just cut the pruned off bits into appropriate lengths, and put them straight into some sandy gravel. I didn't have the energy to properly fiddle around with removing leaves, trimming to nodes etc., but figured rather than chucking interesting plant bits into the mulch pile, I might as well give them the option of forming roots. 🙂

Those Leopard Lillies seem lovely @Shaz51
If they look anything like @Former-Member 's picture.
I was just going to ask you if you could post a picture of what they look like (when matured & flowering).
Darcy beat me to it....

This is what Leopard Lily leaves supposedly look like (Ledebouria species) @Shaz51
They're spotted leaves, very nice (even without flowers).

I just bought some of these Epidendrum (Crucifix) Orchids today - Yellow & Orange.
I potted them up.

My last Crucifix (Epidendrum) Orchids died out, several years ago.
I love Epidendrums, one of my favourites - plus hardy & fast growers.
